Ingredients: Crust
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (18 1/4 oz.)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 C. butter, melted
- 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened (8 oz.)
- 1 can pumpkin (15 oz.)
- 3 eggs
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/2 C. butter, melted
- 1 box powdered sugar (16 oz.)
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1 t. nutmeg
To make crust, combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture into lightly greased 9x13 pan and gently pat down. To make filling, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and butter and beat together. Next, add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and mix well. Spread the pumpkin mixture over the crust and bake for 40-50 minutes(may take longer) at 350 degrees. Make sure not to over-bake as the center should be a little gooey. Serve with whipped cream(homemade is best).
